With its Baldor motor, the PCT1800 can pull 1,800 lb and lift up to 550 lb in a single line.

Powered by a 1 ph - 3/4 hp electric motor

The PCT1800 is therefore recommended for situations where a conventional combustion engine is unusable or where noise is a factor; for pulling wire through conduits for example or for lifting equipment and material during renovation works.

The Power of the Capstan

As with all other Portable Winch models, the PCT1800 has a capstan drum that maintains the same force throughout the work over an unlimited length of rope.
Its pulling capacity is achievable thanks to its 85 mm drum, which provides it with a higher pulling speed. If ever more power is needed, the optional 57 mm drum is available to give you that extra pulling power you may be looking for. See the drum chart in the Spare Parts section for more details.
